Oil pump - it draws a certain amount of lubricating oil from the oil pan, pressurizes it by the oil pump, and then continuously sends it to the surface of various parts for lubrication to maintain the circulation of lubricating oil in the lubrication system. Most of the oil pumps are installed in the crankcase, and some diesel engines install the oil pump outside the crankcase. The oil pumps are driven by gear through camshaft, crankshaft or timing gear.
Oil filter - used to filter out impurities, wear debris, oil sludge, water and other sundries in lubricating oil, so that clean lubricating oil is sent to all lubricating parts. It is divided into coarse oil filter and fine oil filter, which are connected in parallel in the oil passage. Most of the oil output from the oil pump passes through the coarse oil filter, and only a small part passes through the fine oil filter. However, the oil is filtered through the fine oil filter every 5km.
Oil strainer - it is mostly of filter screen type, which can filter out impurities with large particle size in lubricating oil and has small flow resistance. It is installed in series in front of the oil inlet of the oil pump. The primary oil filter is used to filter out the impurities with large particle size in the lubricating oil. It has small flow resistance and is installed in series between the outlet of the oil pump and the main oil passage. The fine oil filter can filter out fine impurities in the lubricating oil, but the flow resistance is large, so it is mostly connected in parallel with the main oil passage, and only a small amount of lubricating oil is filtered through the fine filter.

Pressure limiting valve - used to limit the lubricating oil pressure output by the oil pump. The bypass valve is connected in parallel with the primary filter. When the primary filter is blocked, the bypass valve opens and the lubricating oil output by the oil pump directly enters the main oil passage. The oil inlet pressure limiting valve of the secondary oil filter is used to limit the amount of oil entering the secondary filter to prevent the main oil passage pressure from decreasing and affecting the lubrication effect due to too much oil entering the secondary filter

Crankcase ventilation device - its function is to prevent part of combustible mixture and exhaust gas from channeling into the crankcase through the gap between piston ring and cylinder wall. After the combustible mixture enters the crankcase, the gasoline vapor in it will condense and dissolve into the lubricating oil to dilute the lubricating oil; Water vapor and acid gas in waste gas will form acidic substances, which will cause corrosion to parts; Blowby will also increase the pressure of crankcase lamp, resulting in failure of crankcase seal and leakage of lubricating oil. In order to prevent this phenomenon, a ventilation system must be set up.
