Clutch working process

The working process of the clutch can be divided into a separation process and an engagement process.

In the separation process, step on the clutch pedal, the free clearance of the clutch is first eliminated in the free stroke, and then the separation clearance is generated in the working stroke, and the clutch is separated.
During the engagement process, the clutch pedal is gradually released, and the pressure plate moves forward under the action of the compression spring. First, the separation gap is eliminated, and sufficient pressure is exerted on the working surface of the pressure plate, the driven plate and the flywheel.
Then the release bearing moves backward under the action of the return spring, creating a free gap and the clutch is engaged.
